Sacred Heart men’s lacrosse senior midfielder Max Tuttle added another notch to an incredible senior campaign and career as he was named to the 2019 All-ECAC First Team. With this latest individual honor, Tuttle completes his career as easily the most-decorated Pioneer in program history.

Sacred Heart University Men’s Ice Hockey head coach CJ Marottolo was named by the New York Hockey Journal as the Atlantic Hockey Coach of the Year. Marottolo led the Pioneers to the Atlantic Hockey quarterfinals where SHU was named the fourth overall seed. The Pioneers finished the season with an overall record of 16-17-4
PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The Sacred Heart University rowing team completed its season Sunday at the MAAC Championship. The Pioneers finished in ninth-place in the team standings, tallying seven points.
Following the championship, the All-MAAC teams were announced. Senior Danielle Varley garnered All-MAAC Second Team Honors.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Sacred Heart rowing team had 16 student-athletes named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team on Friday afternoon. The Pioneers 16 members was tied for the second-most with Fairfield, trailing Manhattan’s conference-high 19 honorees.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Sacred Heart University student-athletes graduate student Fallon Bevino and senior Hailey Desrosiers were each named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region teams this afternoon. Bevino was named to the Northeast Region Second Team while Desrosiers was named to the Northeast Region Third Team.

The Sacred Heart University Department of Athletics celebrated the Class of 2019 at the 27thAnnual Senior Awards Brunch at the William H. Pitt Center on Friday afternoon. The members of the Pioneer senior class were honored for their success in the classroom and the athletic venue with numerous awards. Part of the celebration included 63 student-athletes, more than 40 percent of the graduating class, being inducted into the C. Donald Cook Scholar Athlete Society for posting cumulative grade point averages of 3.5 or better.

Kim was named the 2018-19 NEC Men's Golf Rookie of the Year while also garnering All-NEC Second Team honors, while Talwar earned All-NEC First Team honors.
