NEW LONDON, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University Equestrian team Hunt Seat was the Co-High Point Team with UCONN as both teams tallied 39 points each. The Hunt Seat will return to action Saturday, Feb. 16 when they compete at Fairfield University. Show-times begin at 9:00 a.m.
Two Pioneers tallied first place finishes in their events as freshman Elisa Palmier placed first in two events which were the Novice Fences Section A and Novice Flat Section B. Meanwhile senior Emery Smith placed first in Intermediate II Horsemanship Section A and with her winning, she qualified for regionals which will take place on Saturday, March 30.
