WITHROP, Mass.- Sacred Heart University Men's Ice Hockey first-year Braeden Tuck was named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week for his past two games played against Air Force. The Pioneers and Tuck will be back in action on Thursday, Nov. 7 when SHU hosts Holy Cross. Puck-drop is set for 7:05 p.m.
Tuck extended his point streak to four games with a five-point weekend for SHU in a weekend split with Air Force. He tallied his first collegiate goal and also had two assists as well as finished +4 in a 7-1 win on Friday. He then added two more assists as the Pioneers tried to rally in a 4-3 loss to the Falcons on Saturday. Tuck currently leads the team and is tied for second in Atlantic Hockey in assists with seven on the year. He is also second on team in points with a total of eight on the year.
