Saturday's Men's Lacrosse's Contest at Providence Moved to 3 PM

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The start time for Saturday's men's lacrosse game between the Sacred Heart Pioneers and the Providence Friars has been moved from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The change is being made in an effort to avoid poor weather that is expected to move through the area late tonight and into the early afternoon tomorrow.

This will be the ninth all-time meeting between SHU and Providence, with each team winning four games apiece in the history. The most-recent meeting came in Fairfield last season as the Pioneers took down the Friars, 10-9, in overtime thanks to a Max Tuttle game-tying goal with 56 seconds remaining in regulation followed by a game-winning strike from Tuttle in the extra overtime period to seal a last minute come-from-behind win.
