HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - The Sacred Heart University field hockey team fell to Hofstra on the road, 3-1 Wednesday afternoon. Kayla Kruk scored the lone SHU goal in the loss.
With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 1-4 on the season, while the Pride improves to 2-4 on the season with the win. SHU will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 13 when the Pioneers play host to Holy Cross at 6 p.m. at Johnson Field in New Haven.

(54:18): Camilla Larsson sent a pass across the goal mouth, where Ming Doherty deflected it past the goalkeeper to secure the 3-1 win for Hofstra
