NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Sacred Heart University field hockey team fell to the Cal Golden Bears at home, 6-0, Friday evening at Johnson Field. Senior Bridget Kelly recorded two defensive saves in the loss, pushing her NCAA-leading total to 10.
With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 1-11 on the season, while the Golden Bears improve to 5-9 on the season with the win. SHU will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 13 when the Pioneers play host to Merrimack at 3 p.m. at Johnson Field.
